Captain & Company profile

Manage your account at capnco.gg/profile. Guild creation and editing, the Ports minigame, wallet linking, and minting all live there.

Your name

New accounts get a generated name like brave-otter. The first time you reach the docks the game offers to change it. Skip it and the generated name stays.

You can also change it at capnco.gg/profile.

Names are three characters or more, use letters, numbers, spaces, dots and dashes only, and no two players share one. After you set a name you can change it again seven days later.

Your name is public. Other players see it in chat, on the scoreboard and on the leaderboards.

Digital assets

Some items are stored and tracked on the blockchain, primarily cosmetics.

Assets move one way: from your wallet into the game. If you hold an eligible asset in a linked wallet you can deposit it and use it in game. Nothing goes back out, so treat anything you deposit as staying in the game.

Ships are not among them. Ships are ordinary inventory items and always have been.

Blocking and reporting players

Click a name in the chat log to open a small menu.

Block hides everything that player says, immediately and on every device you play from. Lines already on your screen disappear too. Click their name again and choose Unblock to undo it.

Report sends their recent messages from your chat log to us, with the reason you pick. Reports are read every week. You can file up to 20 a day.

Blocking is instant and private; the other player is not told. Reporting does not block, so do both if you want both.

External wallets

If you already have a wallet, link it from your profile. Linking lets you use certain assets in those wallets without depositing them, such as ship cards and cosmetics.

Deposits are handled from the same page.

Withdrawals are closed. That goes for currency as well as items: nothing moves from the game out to a wallet at the moment. Anything you deposited or earned stays usable in game.
