Which build to pick
The browser build is the one to start with: nothing to install, and your account and progress are the same whichever build you use. The desktop and Android builds run at higher quality and load faster after the first time.

Browser performance The browser build boots at medium quality on desktop and low on mobile, deliberately, so the frame rate holds on ordinary hardware. Settings are in the pause menu and the change takes effect immediately.
The first visit downloads the game data once and caches it, so later visits start much faster. Clearing site data starts that download again.
