Player Crafting & Ownership

Almost every item inside of the game is either looted or crafted by players, with the exception of certain older lootboxes. Blueprints are combined with resources to create items. For most items, a fee, paid in , will also be paid to the shop that you crafted the item at. There are four types of shops that players can craft at:

  • Shipwrights, which are responsible for crafting ships

  • Tailors, which are responsible for producing character wearables

  • Blacksmiths, which are responsible for producing equipment and perk cards

  • Taverns, which are responsible for hosting minigames and producing consumables

The best place to find item recipes and other crafting data is on the community-managed .

Bonding Curves

All crafted items in the game follow individual bonding curves, which assign a premium to crafting costs as the item approaches its maximum supply. These constraints serve to balance supply with demand. Both consumable and non-consumable items have bonding curves.

Bonding curves imply that if you craft an item early, you will pay less in resources and fees. The is the best place to find recent supply numbers and bonding curve parameters.
